That article seems a bit weak to me, especially coming from a Phd. It's almost like he has no idea what a linked list is. OF COURSE insertions in the beginning of a linked list are fast, and OF COURSE they're slow in the middle.

I would strongly recommend not looking at performance as a reason to use a LinkedList versus an ArrayList. It's the wrong reason. They are very different data structures.

I doubt this fellow's doctorate is in Computer Science.

Saw your blog about advice delicate financial handling intelligently issue lovingly money remarriage successful - as it is along the same lines I thought I would share this link with you.
